Abhijeet Deepke got excited after hearing the news of Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, video of celebration goes viral

Tezzbuzz Desk – After the news of the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, an atmosphere of enthusiasm was seen among the supporters and protesters at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Deepke danced on the stage, while the students and youth present there were also seen dancing and singing.

People protesting from Jantar Mantar to Janpath said that they had been demanding this for a long time. He says that ultimately accountability was fixed and the minister had to step down.

Dharmendra Pradhan sent his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that national service has been the top priority of his life. In his message, he mentioned his long commitment towards students, teachers and education reforms and said that he will not let the future of any meritorious student be ruined because of the examination mafia.

CJP was protesting at Jantar Mantar for the last several days regarding the NEET question paper leak issue. The leaders of the organization had clearly said that the movement will continue until the Education Minister resigns.

In support of this movement, social activist Sonam Wangchuk started a fast on June 28. He was later admitted to hospital as his health deteriorated, and recently ended his fast after 26 days after receiving assurances from the government.

The atmosphere at Jantar Mantar remained very hot since late Thursday night. As soon as the news of Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation came out, there was a wave of happiness among the protesters. Many students were seen celebrating amidst drums and sloganeering.

Abhijeet Deepke, who is the founder of CJP, expressed happiness on the stage after hearing the news of resignation on mobile. The workers present with him called it a big victory of the movement. The protesters said that this step is a victory for the voice of the students.

Dharmendra Pradhan wrote in his message that he has been associated with students, teachers and education reforms for more than four decades. He said that a strong, inclusive and visionary education system is the foundation of a strong nation. According to him, they respect the aspirations and legitimate expectations of the youth.

CJP’s protest continued at Jantar Mantar regarding the NEET paper leak controversy. The organization had made the demand for the resignation of the Education Minister the main issue of the movement. The protesters claimed that responsibility for the irregularities in the examination process should be fixed.

Sonam Wangchuk also started a fast supporting this movement. Later, when his health deteriorated, he was first admitted to Safdarjung Hospital and then to Medanta Hospital after the order of Delhi High Court.
