Official: Fenerbahce deny 100m offer for AC Milan and Leao: ‘Not on our agenda’
Reports indicated that the Turkish giants were prepared to invest approximately €100m in transfer fees and salaries, but they denied the speculation with a statement released on Saturday morning.
Fenerbahce release official statement on Rafael Leao
“Claims that we made an offer of approximately 100 million Euros for Rafael Leão, including transfer fee and salary, are untrue,” the club said.
“No such offer has been made to the player or his club.
“Our sole focus is on our return match against Górnik Zabrze in the UEFA Champions League 2nd Qualifying Round and advancing to the next round.”
Fenerbahçe also denied interest in Stuttgart’s Ermedin Demirović and added: “During this period, we respectfully request that our fans disregard speculative news reports that attempt to distract from our focus by presenting unfulfilled transfer attempts as if they were real, or by focusing on players who are not on our agenda.”
Rafael Leão is currently on holiday after taking part in the 2026 World Cup, but he’s not believed to be in the club’s plans, and Milan are waiting for offers for him.

Leão is due to return to Milan on July 29 to resume pre-season preparations.
He’s currently in Brazil, where he visited Corinthians on Friday and trained at the club’s facilities.
Leão has a €175m clause included in his contract, but according to various sources, the Rossoneri are ready to let him go for €60m this summer.
