UP News: Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar fiercely targeted the Samajwadi Party in Ambedkar Nagar. In the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Rajbhar leveled several allegations against the Samajwadi Party regarding paper leaks, government jobs, law and order, and the rights of backward classes. He stated that the Yogi government has gifted Ambedkar Nagar with development projects worth over ₹706 crore.
Surrounding the SP on the Paper Leak Issue
Om Prakash Rajbhar said that while SP leaders are talking about paper leaks today, they should also remember the system in place during their own government. He alleged that during the SP government, students from other states came to Uttar Pradesh and passed exams by cheating. According to Rajbhar, at that time, papers were sold, and students would buy them and solve them even in the fields. He also alleged that many students took the papers and copies home with them.
Rajbhar claimed that SP leaders used to go from village to village selling jobs, and now they are talking about paper leaks.
Claims of over nine lakh jobs under Yogi government
The cabinet minister said that one should learn how to conduct government recruitment from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He claimed that the Yogi government has provided government jobs to over nine lakh youth and that not a single rupee of bribe was required for these recruitments.
Also took aim at law and order
Rajbhar also attacked the SP on law and order. He claimed that not a single riot occurred in the state during the Yogi government’s more than nine years of tenure. He alleged that during the five years of the SP government, 1,000 riots took place, resulting in the death of 1,200 people. He said that under the SP government, criminals openly brandished weapons and engaged in gang wars. Rajbhar said that now the criminals are either in jail or strict action has been taken against them.
Called the SP a nepotistic party
Rajbhar also questioned the SP’s PDA slogan. Calling the SP a nepotistic party, he alleged that the party has snatched the rights of the backward classes and, instead of taking the state forward, has taken the state backward. He said that the SP government was formed several times, but Ambedkar Nagar was not adequately addressed.
Housing and Medical Assistance to the Poor
Rajbhar also mentioned the Zero Poverty Campaign. He stated that during a village-by-village survey, more than 1.3 million poor and vulnerable families were identified who lacked permanent homes. He stated that such eligible families would be provided permanent homes under the Chief Minister’s Rural Housing Scheme.
To assist the poor suffering from serious illnesses, Rajbhar stated that the financial assistance process could be advanced by providing a treatment estimate, an income certificate from the tehsil, and a photocopy of the Aadhaar card. He stated that efforts would be made to provide assistance to eligible individuals if the treatment cost was up to five, six, eight, or ten lakh rupees, so that no poor person’s treatment would be stopped due to lack of funds.
