Nature’s havoc in France-Spain, 2 lakh people rendered homeless due to massive forest fire; Big danger looms over Bordeaux city

South-western France and central Spain are currently experiencing one of the worst natural disasters in history. The uncontrolled fire in the forests has created such an outcry that about 2 lakh people from the affected areas of both the countries had to be hurriedly shifted to safe places. There is an atmosphere of panic from Madrid to all the towns near Bordeaux and people have been forced to leave their homes and run to safe places to save their lives. The speed of the fire and its destructive capacity have surprised even the fire departments and administrative officials, because it is not possible for anyone to face these fierce flames directly. Chaos on the Atlantic coast of France, people fled in boats. Fire fighters in Spain have openly admitted that due to the wind direction and extreme heat, the flames were so strong that it proved very difficult to control them. When the fire started spreading rapidly in the popular Atlantic coastal tourist areas of France, the situation became so dire that many people had to flee with the help of boats in the sea to save their lives. According to official data from the French Interior Ministry, more than 1,41,000 citizens from the Gironde and Landes regions of France alone have had to leave their ancestral and modern homes and seek shelter in safe places. Devastation in the central areas of Spain too, police came to evacuate the houses. On the other hand, according to the Interior Ministry of Spain, the flames rising from the forests of central Spain engulfed the residential areas, due to which 60,000 people were forced to evacuate their homes. Due to administrative alertness, police teams were going from door to door, blowing sirens, warning people to vacate the area immediately. Huge plumes of black smoke rising from the forests have completely covered the sky. Only a procession of vehicles is visible on the roads, due to which an atmosphere of stampede and chaos is being created everywhere. Relief news: No one died, but dozens of firefighters got burnt. The biggest relief in the midst of this terrible disaster is that till now there has been no official confirmation of the death of any citizen or tourist due to this massive fire in France or Spain. However, dozens of French firefighters, who were trying day and night to control the fire, have been injured or burnt and are undergoing treatment. The biggest challenge before the administration is now to stop this uncontrolled fire from moving towards the city of Bordeaux, for which additional fire brigades and rescue teams from neighboring areas have also been immediately dispatched to the spot.
