IND vs ZIM 2nd T20 2026 Highlights: India defeated Zimbabwe by 90 runs, 2-0 lead in the series

New Delhi: India registered a one-sided win against Zimbabwe in the second T20. Batting first, Team India scored 219 runs for 5 wickets and then bowled out Zimbabwe for 129 runs. With this victory, India also took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 5-match series.

Ishan Kishan became the hero of the match   

After losing the toss and opting to bat first, India had a slow start. Abhishek Sharma played fast in the first over but was out for 8 runs. Abhishek, who scored one run in the last match, could not play a big innings this time too.

After this, Vaibhav Suryavanshi gave momentum in the third over by hitting 3 fours and 1 six, but walked away after scoring 20 runs in 9 balls. Zimbabwe had a bad start while chasing the target of 220. Debutant Yash Thakur gave India its first success by dismissing Brian Bennett. Bennett was looking dangerous after scoring 32 runs in 19 balls, he also hit 3 fours and 3 sixes.

After this Prince Yadav wreaked havoc. He first dismissed Ben Curran for 1 run and then sent captain Sikandar Raza to the pavilion without opening the account. Raza’s wicket was the turning point of the match.

Spinner Ravi Bishnoi also clean bowled Dion Mayers for 12 runs. 3 big batsmen of Zimbabwe fell inside the powerplay. Half the team was out for 65 runs. In the end the entire team was reduced to 129 runs and India won by 90 runs.
