Changes in arrangements for Shravan and Bhado
The temple administration has changed the timings for worship and darshan in view of the months of Shravan and Bhado. The temple doors are now opening at 3 am, while Bhasma Aarti is held every Monday from 2:30 am to 4:30 am. This special arrangement will remain in place until September 7, after which the temple’s regular schedule will be reinstated.
Better management makes darshan easier
Entry and exit routes have been streamlined for the convenience of devotees. General devotees are being allowed entry from the Triveni Museum, while exit is being provided through the route near the Big Ganesh Temple. A separate entry gate has also been designated for devotees who wish to have a quick darshan. These arrangements have made the darshan process much smoother than before.
A separate darshan system has been established for Kanwar pilgrims arriving during Shravan and Bhado. They will be admitted through designated routes and allowed to offer water on selected days of the week. Entry of Kanwar groups will be restricted on the most crowded Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays to avoid inconvenience to ordinary devotees.
In addition, parking has been arranged at various locations for devotees visiting the temple. Facilities such as drinking water, shoe stands, and ticket counters have also been made available at prominent locations.
