State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to officially launch the very special ‘Chief Minister Teacher Cashless Medical Facility Scheme’ of the Higher Education Department today i.e. on Sunday from Taj city Agra. After the implementation of this scheme, the teachers and their entire families serving in universities, non-government aided colleges, self-financed courses and self-financed colleges across the state will now start getting the direct benefits of the best cashless medical facility.

What is this new scheme and how will you get its benefits?

After the complete implementation of this new ‘Chief Minister Teacher Cashless Medical Facility Scheme’, eligible teachers and their families will start getting the facility of cashless treatment in all the government and big private hospitals listed by the government without paying a single penny. Let us tell you that at present, due to non-availability of medical reimbursement facility, teachers had to bear the entire heavy financial burden of treatment from their own pockets. But now with the advent of this new and modern system, all the teachers of the state will be able to get better treatment as well as strong financial security on time.

You will get excellent medical cover up to Rs 5 lakh every year

Yogi government clearly believes that the health security of our teachers is actually the strongest foundation of a quality higher education system. This is why the ‘Mukhyamantri Shikshak Cashless Medical Facility Scheme’ will provide financial security to teachers and their families along with easy access to health services.

According to the rules of this scheme, every eligible family will be provided a comprehensive medical cover of up to Rs 5 lakh every year. The special thing is that as soon as your card is ready, you will be able to take full advantage of the scheduled health services from the very first day. Apart from this, the entire expenditure from hospitalization, treatment expenses, medicine bills and discharge of the patient will be borne by the government under this scheme.

You will get full benefit of treatment and package of more than 1900 diseases

Through this amazing scheme, more than 1900 types of treatment packages can be availed directly in government and private hospitals listed by the government. These big packages include treatment for serious diseases like cancer, heart diseases, kidney diseases and many types of complex surgeries. This entire scheme will be operated through ‘Sachij’ and only the treatment rates fixed by Ayushman Bharat will be fully implemented.

Will start from Agra, big MoU will be signed with PNB

As decided, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to launch this wonderful scheme in Agra today on Sunday. During this grand event, an important MoU will also be exchanged with Punjab National Bank (PNB) to further strengthen the social and economic security of teachers and non-teaching staff.

Under this MoU, teachers and college employees will also be provided with big and attractive facilities like personal accident insurance up to Rs 1.50 crore, air accident insurance up to Rs 3 crore, hospital cash benefit up to Rs 60 thousand and term life insurance up to Rs 12 lakh.
