New Delhi. Important news has emerged for central employees regarding the 8th Central Pay Commission. The Commission is pursuing the process of directly engaging with employee organizations to understand their demands and suggestions. In this regard, meetings will be held with representatives of various central employee organizations in Jaipur on August 31 and September 1, 2026.
In this meeting, employee organizations will be able to raise issues regarding salaries, allowances, service conditions, and other important employee-related issues before the Commission. However, this Jaipur meeting will not be open to all employee organizations. The Commission has established certain eligibility criteria for this meeting.
Which organizations will get the opportunity to meet?
According to information released by the Commission, only organizations that meet the prescribed criteria can apply to participate in the Jaipur meeting. For this, the organization must be a central government employee organization located or registered in Rajasthan. Federations and unions can also apply.
Application has to be done online
Eligible employee organizations must submit an appointment request to attend the meeting through the Commission’s online portal. When applying, the organization must also enter the unique Memo ID received during the submission of the memorandum. Representatives selected by the Commission from eligible organizations will be notified via email about the date, time, and location of the meeting.
Opportunity to apply till August 18
The deadline for eligible organizations wishing to participate in the meeting in Jaipur is August 18, 2026. Eligible employee organizations must complete their applications within the deadline. When applying, organizations must ensure that the information provided is accurate and that the required memorandum information is available.
