MP Police Recruitment 2026: Recruitment will be done on 9,662 posts
Madhya Pradesh government has approved recruitment to 9,662 posts in the police department. The recruitment process for Constable, Driver, Sub-Inspector, ASI and other posts will be conducted through Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB). Official notification is expected to be released soon.
New Delhi: There is big news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Madhya Pradesh. The state government has approved recruitment to 9,662 vacant posts in the police department. Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made to many posts including Constable, Driver, Sub-Inspector (SI), Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), Subedar and Technical Cadre. Detailed notification of recruitment will be released soon on the official website of Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB).

According to the information given by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, with the aim of strengthening the police department, recruitment will be done on 9,662 posts across the state. Of these, maximum 7,500 posts are for constable (Constable-GD), while 1,000 posts have been earmarked for constable (Driver). Apart from this, various posts of technical cadre like Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), Sub-Inspector (District Force), Subedar, Sub-Inspector (SAF) and Fingerprint and Ordnance will also be part of this recruitment drive.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
For constable posts, it will be mandatory for the candidate to have passed 12th from a recognized board. Whereas for some other posts including Sub-Inspector (SI), graduation degree will be necessary. Valid driving license for driver post, while for some posts, qualification of computer course may also be required.
The minimum age for recruitment has been fixed at 18 years and maximum 33 years. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and other reserved categories will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the State Government. Detailed eligibility and physical standards will be given in the official notification.

After the release of recruitment notification, candidates can visit the official website of MPESB. esb.mp.gov.in You will be able to apply online by visiting. First of all the candidates have to register. After this, you will have to login, fill the application form, upload the required documents and pay the prescribed fee online. After successful submission of the application, its printout should be kept safe.
Application Fee and Advice for Candidates
Candidates from general category and other states will have to deposit ₹ 500 as application fee. Whereas for OBC, SC and ST category candidates the application fee has been fixed at ₹250. Apart from this, portal fee of ₹ 60 will have to be paid separately.
Since the detailed recruitment notification has not been released yet, candidates are advised to regularly keep an eye on the official website of MPESB. After the release of the notification, all the important information related to application date, exam schedule, selection process and Physical Efficiency Test (PET/PST) will be made available.
