Bhumi Pednekar extends a helping hand to flood-hit Assam, distributing solar lights; video also surfaces

Many celebrities are stepping up to help the flood-hit Assam. Actress Bhumi Pednekar is among those affected. She shared a video on Instagram of herself traveling to the flood-affected state with the Bharat Disaster Relief Foundation (BDRF).

Bhumi Pednekar shared a video of the BDRF on her Instagram, in which she is seen helping people in flood-affected areas. In the video, she describes traveling in a car in the dark, where instead of roads, there is water everywhere.

Bhumi Pednekar is then seen distributing solar lights, food, and relief supplies to the people. She explained that the water level hasn’t receded in nearly three weeks. Solar lights can help protect people from snakes and other reptiles at night. She added that it’s important to visit the area firsthand to understand the situation.
