Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma on Sunday handed over approval letters for construction of houses to 25 beneficiaries of the city under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 under the Municipal Council Kawardha of Kabirdham district.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that the aim of the government is not only to build houses, but also to provide respect, security and basic facilities of better life to every needy family.
He said that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is bringing a major change in the lives of poor and needy families. The government is committed to ensuring that all eligible families receive the benefits of the housing scheme.
Sharma said that every person dreams of having his own pucca house where his family can live safely and with respect.
The government is working with determination to realize this dream. The Deputy Chief Minister said that eligible families in Kawardha city are also being provided housing benefits through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0.
The beneficiaries who received the approval letter under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 include Meena Bai Devangan, Dharmendra Kumar Chandravanshi, Draupadi Devangan, Meena Bai, Yogesh Chandravanshi, Budhelal Nishad, Sahida Khatoon, Pramod Sahu, Dwarika Chandravanshi.
Lakshmi Chandravanshi, Parmanand Sahu, Kamlesh Chandravanshi, Mukesh Chandravanshi, Rajbai Satyavanshi, Sakun Nishad, Amita Kesharwani, Vimlesh Kumbhakar, Punita Bai Bharti, Sita Devangan, Ajay Singh Thakur, Sanjay Yadav, Mannu Singh Chauhan, Omnath Yogi, Sweta Devi Pandey and Bhukhan Lal Kaushik are included.
On this occasion, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude towards Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and said that they were dreaming of having a pucca house for a long time and now after receiving the approval letter, their dream is moving towards becoming a reality.
