New Delhi, August 10, 2026: Motorola is set to launch the Moto G Max in India on August 14 at 12pm. Ahead of the launch, the upcoming smartphone has appeared on Flipkart, revealing its key specifications and colour options.
The handset is listed with a 6.72-inch FHD+ display, a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 6-series chipset and Android 16. It will also feature a 7,000mAh battery.
Moto G Max Display and Processor
According to the Flipkart listing, the Moto G Max will feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,050 nits of HBM brightness. Motorola will also equip the phone with Water Touch 2.0, designed to improve touchscreen responsiveness in wet conditions.
The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The Moto G Max will run Android 16 out of the box. Motorola has promised two OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
50-Megapixel Sony Camera
For photography, the Moto G Max will feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 600 primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
On the front, the smartphone will have a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
7,000mAh Battery and Other Features
The Moto G Max will pack a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Motorola claims can provide up to three days of battery life. The battery is rated for up to 1,000 recharge cycles.
Other confirmed features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IP64 rating for protection. The handset will also feature Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic and MIL-STD 810H certification.
Colour Options and Expected Price
The Flipkart listing shows the Moto G Max in blue, dark grey and pink colour options. The handset appears to have a satin finish and a flat frame, with Pantone-curated colours.
The company has not yet revealed the official price. A previous report suggested that the Moto G Max could be priced at around Rs. 30,000 in India. More details are expected to be announced at the August 14 launch.
