Delhi. Parliament’s monsoon session was adjourned until 12 noon on Monday due to uproar by opposition members in the Lok Sabha. The opposition protested in the House, demanding an investigation into the theft of offerings at the Ram Temple and accountability for the police action against students in Delhi.
Uproar as soon as the question hour started
As soon as the Lok Sabha proceedings began, opposition members rose from their seats, shouting slogans and creating a ruckus. Presiding Officer N.K. Premachandran attempted to begin Question Hour, but the opposition members’ uproar intensified. The House was adjourned within a minute, until 12 noon.
