New Delhi: The controversy surrounding alleged irregularities in Ram Temple donations has intensified, with around 500 saints and religious leaders set to march towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi on Monday. The march coincides with a hearing in the Supreme Court on a plea seeking an independent probe into the allegations.
The protest march is being led by Computer Baba and Prakashanand Giri Maharaj, with participants demanding a fair and high-level investigation into the alleged misuse of donations linked to the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Saints To Submit Memorandum Seeking Probe
According to organisers, the group will begin the march from near the Nepal Embassy area at Mandi House around 11 am and proceed towards the Prime Minister’s residence.
The saints are expected to submit a memorandum urging the government to initiate an impartial investigation and take strict action against anyone found guilty in the alleged donation irregularities.
The organisers claimed that saints, mahants and religious leaders from different parts of the country will participate in the peaceful demonstration.
Supreme Court Hearing Adds Significance To Protest
The march comes on the same day when the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a plea seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged embezzlement of Ram Temple donation funds.
The legal proceedings have brought renewed attention to the allegations, with the matter becoming a major point of discussion among political and religious groups. Last month, the Supreme Court had advised the parties involved not to politicise the issue.

Congress Raises Demand For Independent Investigation
The issue has also echoed in Parliament, with Congress demanding a discussion on the alleged donation irregularities.
Congress MP KC Venugopal moved an adjournment motion notice in the Lok Sabha, calling for a high-level independent inquiry under the supervision of a Supreme Court judge.
The Congress alleged that there were serious concerns regarding the handling of donations and questioned the ongoing investigation, claiming that it should examine all possible angles.
The Ram Temple donation controversy has now become a major issue involving legal, political and religious dimensions. While saints are seeking a transparent investigation, political parties have also demanded accountability.
