Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while sharing a post on social media platform X, termed this move of BJP MPs as extremely insensitive. He wrote that garlanding Dharmendra Pradhan is not his honour, but is a symbol of the helpless and corrupt education system of the country which has destroyed the dreams of millions of youth. Apart from this, Rahul Gandhi said in warning words that every student of the country is watching this act and will remember every single face involved in it.

aimed at resignation

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi also raised questions on Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. He claimed that this resignation has not come on any moral basis, but due to the huge anger and fear arising among the youth of the country against the paper leak and serious irregularities in the education sector, he had to step down from the post. He also accused the government of suppressing the rights of students. He said that this corrupt and dysfunctional system has taken the lives of many children and forced lakhs of youth to take to the streets for justice.

He alleged that today the entire government machinery has become a problem for the students against their demand for fair examination. It is noteworthy that Dharmendra Pradhan had recently resigned from the post of Education Minister after the nationwide student movements over NEET paper leak and alleged rigging in other competitive examinations. When he reached the Parliament complex for the first time after resigning, BJP and NDA MPs garlanded him while shouting slogans and gave him a warm welcome. Now the opposition and the ruling party are face to face on this issue.
