New Delhi, July Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday shared a Sanskrit proverb on social media platform ‘X’. Through it, he called on the people to listen to truthful, auspicious and enlightening words, adopt welfare ideas and disseminate information of public interest. “Let us listen to true, auspicious and enlightening words, adopt welfare thoughts. Dedicate life to public interest with healthy body, good conduct and best qualities and make nation and society aware, empowered and harmonious by disseminating true, authentic and public welfare information,” the Prime Minister wrote in the post.
PM Modi also shared a Sanskrit verse:
“Let us hear with our ears the good fortune of the gods; let us see with our eyes the good fortune of the sacrificers.
We rest with our bodies, praising Him with steady limbs, for the welfare of the gods, as long as we live.”

Earlier, the Prime Minister had also shared a Sanskrit proverb on social media on August He wrote: “Why does the Moon awaken the lilies with the cows in order to reciprocate? It is the nature of the virtuous to do good to others. This means that the moon does not illuminate the lily with its rays out of any reciprocal desire, but it is its natural quality. Similarly, people with great and generous hearts do good to others without any selfishness or expectation, because altruism is part of their nature.

Earlier, on August 6, the Prime Minister had shared a Sanskrit verse on ‘X’:
“O destroyer of the universe we shall follow the auspicious earth sustained by righteousness which is the mother of all herbs” Its message is connected to the service of the earth and motherland. The meaning shared by the Prime Minister said that the earth on which the best plants and medicines are grown, may Mother Earth remain expansive and stable. Also, resolve to always serve the motherland, which is nourished by virtues like knowledge, courage, truth and affection.
