- Claim your daily stamp before the day ends.
- Check the Research Breakthrough reward when it becomes available.
- Keep trying if the reward does not contain an Unova Stone.
How to Get Unova Stones From Team GO Rocket
Rocket battles provide another chance to obtain this evolution item. First, defeat Team GO Rocket Grunts to collect Mysterious Components. After collecting enough, assemble a Rocket Radar and use it to locate Arlo, Cliff, or Sierra.
Defeat a Leader and check your rewards. An Unova Stone can appear, but the reward is random. If you miss out, build another Rocket Radar and challenge another Leader.

Seven Pokémon currently use the Unova Stone for their final evolution in Pokémon GO:

Eelektrik and Lampent are already evolved forms. You first need to evolve Tynamo into Eelektrik or Litwick into Lampent before using the Unova Stone for the final evolution.
