Whereas two-time champion West Indies will have to play the qualifier tournament to qualify for the ODI World Cup 2027. 10 teams qualified

10 teams have qualified for the 2027 ODI World Cup to be hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. The teams that have qualified include India, England, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, South Africa and Zimbabwe. South Africa and Zimbabwe have got direct entry due to being hosts, while other teams have confirmed their places on the basis of ranking.

West Indies will have to play qualifiers

West Indies has not got direct entry in the tournament. This news is no less than a big shock for the Caribbean team. The two-time ODI World Cup champion team could not qualify for the ODI World Cup for the second consecutive time. Earlier, the West Indies team could not even qualify for the 2023 World Cup and will have to play the qualifier round for the 2027 World Cup as well.
