Priyanka Gandhi said, “I want to ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, what was the need to use tear gas, lathi charge, pellet guns and AK-47 on students? Were those students terrorists? Who gave the order to use pellet guns on the youth of the country? Did the Prime Minister or the Home Minister give this order? They have to answer this. Not just Congress, the entire country is demanding answers.” She said that a few days ago, she had visited Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital to inquire about the health of a student who was injured in police lathicharge and was dying in the ICU.

Priyanka Gandhi explained that shortly before reaching the hospital, Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda and other leaders also met the student. She said that when she reached there, the student's mother was very distressed and folded her hands and said, “Thank you for coming, but I don't want to meet anyone. I don't want to talk to anyone. Since morning, big leaders are coming one by one, making videos. Are the people responsible for my daughter's condition also here?” The Congress MP said that the pain was evident on the mother's face and her whole body was shaking.
The country's examination system is a complete failure
Continuing her attack on the government, Priyanka Gandhi said that the central government has consistently weakened all employment generating sectors. He alleged that the country's examination system has been a complete failure. “There have been 152 paper blasts in the last 10 years. It has affected lakhs of students, but not a single member of the paper blasting mafia has been punished,” she said.
Who gave them the right to suppress the voice of students?
Priyanka Gandhi questioned the government as to why they are afraid of the youth of the country and who gave them the right to suppress the voice of students. She said the government should answer Parliament and the nation on critical issues like the use of force against student protests and the failure of the examination system.
