'Opposition should discuss, I will answer every question' Amit Shah's first statement on Parliament deadlock

Tezzbuzz Desk- Union Home Minister Amit Shah's first reaction has come amid the ongoing deadlock in Parliament. On Wednesday he said that the government is ready to discuss all issues in the House. Appealing to the opposition to come to the House and start the discussion, Shah said that if the opposition is ready then he is ready for the discussion from 3 pm on Wednesday.

Amit Shah said that if the opposition wants, discussion can be held from 3 pm today to 3 pm on Thursday. He said that the government is ready to answer on any issue, but the opposition will have to be ready for discussion first.

'Ready to answer every question'

The Home Minister said that the government is ready to discuss all subjects and he is ready to answer every question of the opposition. He asked the opposition to submit the letter by 2 pm. Shah said that the government is ready to postpone the Question Hour if needed, so that serious issues can be discussed in detail.

He said that adequate time should be allotted for discussion in Parliament. Accusing the opposition of disrupting the proceedings of the House, Shah said that if Parliament is not functioning then what is the use of going there. He said that now the public should decide who is running away from the discussion.

Amit Shah also said that such language should not be used on serious topics in Parliament. He also objected to words like 'missing' and 'absconded' and said that such issues should be discussed in a systematic manner.

Rahul Gandhi hit back

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit back at Amit Shah's statement. He accused the Home Minister of giving lecture instead of coming to the House. Raising questions, Rahul Gandhi said who ordered the action against the students and who ordered the use of pellet guns. He said that the role of the Home Minister is important in such matters and the government should answer these questions.

Rahul Gandhi also alleged that the Home Minister remained missing for about 20 days. He said that if Amit Shah was present in the Parliament then why did he not come to the House.

Government and opposition face to face for discussion

Amid the ongoing deadlock in Parliament, allegations and counter-allegations have intensified between the government and the opposition. While Amit Shah has said that the government is ready for discussion, Rahul Gandhi has sought action from the government and answers on related issues.

Now it has to be seen what stand the opposition takes on Amit Shah's proposal and whether the deadlock in Parliament ends and opens the way for discussion on various issues.
