Almond Flour: 1 cup
Powdered Sugar: 1.5 cups
Egg Whites: 2 eggs
Caster Sugar: 1/4 cup

Food Color: Any color of your choice
For filling: buttercream or melted chocolate

Sifting Dry Ingredients: First of all, sift the almond powder and powdered sugar together thoroughly so that there are no lumps in it.
Prepare the mixture: Beat the egg whites in a dry bowl. When it starts foaming, gradually add granulated sugar and keep beating until it becomes thick and shiny (meringue).
Mix colors: Now add any food color of your choice in it. Mix the ingredients: Gradually add the drained almonds and powdered sugar to the whipped mixture in a cut-and-fold manner. Keep in mind that the mixture should not be too thin.

Shape: Fill this paste in a piping bag and drop it in small round shapes on a baking tray lined with butter paper.
Dry: Leave the tray for 30 to 45 minutes, so that a light dry layer forms on top.
Bake: Now bake it in a preheated oven at 150°C for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from baking sheet when cooled.
Apply felt: Spread buttercream or chocolate ganache between two macaron shells and attach to each other.
