Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max— Tech brand Xiaomi has officially introduced the new flagship smartphone series Redmi K100 in its home market China. This lineup includes Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max. Both devices have a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, high-refresh-rate OLED display and large battery. This series is expected to enter the Indian smartphone market with a new name (possibly Poco series) in the coming months.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V chipset and new cooling system
The company has used the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V series chipset in Redmi K100 Pro. This processor is a modified version of the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which has one less GPU slice. The phone comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage to increase the speed of data transfer and loading apps.
To prevent the phone from heating up during continuous gaming or heavy work, Xiaomi has provided a 5,150mm² ice-cooled circulating pump in it. Apart from this, in-house D2 discrete graphics chip for better visual rendering and T1+ signal booster chip to strengthen network connectivity have also been included.

185Hz bright display and camera setup
Talking about the display, Redmi K100 Pro has a 6.59-inch OLED flat panel, which comes with 2510 × 1156 pixel resolution. This screen uses M11 luminescent material that supports 185Hz refresh rate and full-screen peak brightness of up to 2,200 nits. To reduce eye strain, full-brightness DC dimming technology has been used in it.
For photography, there is a 200MP main camera in the back of the device, which supports high-detail photography and 8K video recording. After the sales start in China, the company will announce its rollout plans for global markets.
