Patna. Janata Dal United (JDU) MPs on Wednesday met party national president and Rajya Sabha MP Nitish Kumar at his official residence at 9, Sunehri Bagh in Delhi. During this, JDU’s National Working President and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha was also present.
During the meeting, Nitish Kumar took information from the party MPs about important issues related to public interest and development of Bihar being raised in both the houses of Parliament. He also took detailed feedback from the MPs regarding the progress of the ongoing development schemes in their respective parliamentary constituencies and the status of their implementation.
The MPs informed Nitish Kumar about the updated status of various development works and public welfare schemes being conducted in their respective Lok Sabha constituencies. During this, along with regional problems, various issues related to development works were also discussed.
Nitish Kumar urged the MPs to raise issues related to public interest in Parliament on priority. He also stressed on keeping an eye on the effective implementation of development schemes and being continuously active in solving the problems of the common people. He asked the MPs to seriously understand the issues related to the public in their respective areas and take initiative at the necessary level to solve the related problems.
JDU Parliamentary Party leader in Lok Sabha Dileshwar Kamat, MPs Kaushalendra Kumar, Deveshchandra Thakur, Alok Kumar Suman, Rampreet Mandal, Vijayalakshmi Devaki and Sunil Kumar were present in the meeting. Apart from this, Deputy Leader of the ruling party in Bihar Legislative Council and JDU Treasurer Lalan Kumar Saraf was also present in the meeting.
