While targeting the opposition parties, he wrote, “The aim of the opposition is not to discuss but to create ruckus. I will answer each and every question of the opposition on Thursday. Then the public will decide who wants to discuss and who is running away.”
While talking to the media, Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Language like 'missing', 'absconded' and 'fugitives' are being heard recently in the public and parliamentary life of India. Ever since the session started, I have been coming to the Parliament continuously. I sit in my chamber, since the opposition is not allowing both the Houses of the Parliament to function, so what can be done by going there?”
He further said, “As far as discussion is concerned, on behalf of the government, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has made it clear that it is ready to hold all kinds of discussions on the performance of students regarding NEET. Time should be ensured for discussion and the opposition should be ready. The opposition was demanding it and we accepted it.”
Attacking Shah, he said, “I have also said that I am ready to answer any question, but they (opposition) do not want to allow discussion. Now the public should decide who is running.”
The Home Minister also said that the opposition should give a letter to the Speaker by 3 pm today. We are ready for all types of discussions from 3 pm today to 3 pm on Thursday. I will sit in the House itself, listen to everyone and answer everything. The government has nothing to hide.”
Amit Shah said, “The BJP government under the leadership of Modi ji is ready to discuss everything, just let the opposition run the Parliament. We are ready to suspend the Question Hour too, if the Speaker gives permission. I am ready to answer all the questions. I will answer on Thursday at 3 pm. Now the opposition has to decide whether they want to discuss or create ruckus.”
It is noteworthy that the opposition is continuously attacking the alleged embezzlement in the offerings of Ram temple and the police action against the protesters during the Parliament march in Delhi.
