Bihar News: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has made several big announcements to provide better education and global level opportunities to the students of the state. He inaugurated the 'Aagaaz-2026' induction and orientation program organized at Lalit Narayan Mishra Institute for Economic Development and Social Change on 12 August 2026. During this, the Chief Minister honored six gold medalist students of 2026 passout and congratulated the students taking new enrollments. He also introduced the Learning Management System.

Students will go abroad from 'Ganga to Global'

The Chief Minister said that there is no dearth of talent among the youth of Bihar. They should get good education, modern skills and opportunity to learn from the better institutions of the world. for this purpose 'Ganga to Global' The scheme will be started.

Under this scheme, in every session about Exposure visit to 100 students in prestigious institutions abroad for a month. Will be sent to. Students will get an opportunity to understand the functioning, knowledge and expertise of leading institutions in the country and abroad. The aim of the government is to connect the students of Bihar with global level education and experience.

Seats will increase in LNMU, new centers will be built.

The Chief Minister said that the institute currently has about 1,600 students Are studying. by increasing the number of students 3,000 Work will be done towards doing so. Admission to the institute is based on performance in competitive examinations like CAT and MAT.

LNMU during development of new township 10 acres of land Will be made available. A satellite campus of the institute will be built here. In addition to this the institute AI Center of Excellence, Center for Urban Policy and Governance and Quantum Computer Center Will be established. This will provide students with the opportunity for better studies and research on subjects related to modern policy making, urban development, administration and governance.

Many steps of the government in the field of education

The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously taking important steps in the field of education. Degree colleges have been established in all the blocks. Launched on 15th July 211 degree colleges Studies have started from 10th August with the contribution of teachers. in the state 551 Model School have also been started.

From August 15, students will be able to study online even after 11 pm and will be able to prepare better for the exam by asking questions to teachers.

Role of youth in the development of Bihar

Samrat Chaudhary said that the youth will play an important role in giving global recognition to the glorious Magadha history and heritage of Bihar. He appealed to the youth to stay connected to their birthplace and contribute to the prosperity of Bihar, wherever they are in the world.

The Chief Minister also mentioned flood management, irrigation and development of industries in the state. He informed that work is being done to improve Kosi, Narayani and Ganga river basins.
