Pappu Yadav taunted, said – now people will not accept political agenda

New Delhi/Patna. Independent MP from Purnia, Bihar, Pappu Yadav has reacted to the Raj Bhavan march of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) led by Tejashwi Yadav on August 19. He said that people will no longer accept the political agenda. Also, Pappu Yadav advised Tejashwi to learn from Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav.

Speaking to news agency IANS, MP Pappu Yadav said on RJD’s march, “The nature of politics has changed with the arrival of Gen-G and Alpha. People have lost faith in political parties, except perhaps one-two percent of the leaders. Almost 98-99 percent of the leaders do not like to see about the future of Bihar. Bihar also does not want to think about such people.”

He further said, “If he (Tejashwi Yadav) wants to learn something, he should learn from Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav. But there is no desire to learn. They want to remain in deep sleep like Kumbhakarna. Therefore, people will no longer accept the political agenda and the political agenda will have nothing to do with the common people. Therefore, the shops of political parties, especially small parties, are going to end.”

Meanwhile, regarding the NCAER study on liquor ban in Bihar, Pappu Yadav said, “What has actually succeeded in Bihar? Liquor ban has failed, drugs have reached every house and crime has increased a lot. It seems that only the leaders and officials are able to save themselves. The common man trusts God. Poverty is at its peak.”

The MP said that there is a lot of corruption in the government. The bill for something which costs Rs 1,000 is being made at Rs 15,000. There is corruption even in municipal corporations. From hospitals to municipal corporations, billions and trillions of rupees have been looted.

Reiterating his point, he said that prohibition was never successful. The methods of prohibition needed to be changed and evaluated. The government has not done any evaluation in 20-25 years. The state has suffered economic loss due to prohibition and drugs have also reached every home.

On the announcement of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das joining the Ranchi student movement, Pappu Yadav said, “There is no future left for Raghuvar Das and BJP. There are many allegations of corruption against him and his leaders. First of all, they should protest within the BJP on these issues. There are four former Chief Ministers, their fight is going on. Raghuvar Das no longer has any credibility or base left. First of all, he should answer what he looted from the people of Jharkhand. He should see how many papers were leaked during his government.”
