IND vs AFG: The schedule of the three-match T20 series between India and Afghanistan to be held in September has been announced. However, just a few hours after the program was announced, a request was made by the Afghanistan Cricket Board to change the schedule. Afghanistan Cricket Board is going to host India for a 3-match T20I series at the Arun Jaitley Stadium from 13 to 17 September, but now this schedule can be changed.

ACB wants change in schedule

In fact, on Wednesday, August 12, the Afghanistan Cricket Board announced a three-match T20I series against India. According to the released schedule, this series between the two teams will start from September 13. Whereas, the second T20 will be played on 15th and the third T20 will be played on 17th September. These three matches will be played at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi. However, now the Afghanistan Cricket Board wants to change the schedule and wants to play a match on 14 September. If BCCI agrees, then the match scheduled for 13 or 15 September can be played on 14.

Afghanistan will host

Afghanistan Cricket Board will host this three-match T20I series between India and Afghanistan. Even though the matches of the series are to be played in India, Afghanistan will officially be seen in the role of host. In such a situation, Afghanistan Cricket Board will bear all the expenses related to the accommodation of the teams, travel related expenses and stadium rent.

In whose pocket will the earnings go?

Afghanistan is the host of this series, hence whatever income will be earned by selling broadcasting rights, sponsorship deals and other commercial rights, will go into the pocket of Afghanistan Cricket Board. Apart from this, the revenue earned from match tickets will also go to Afghan cricket.
