1 death every half hour! More deadly Ebola infection in Congo, disease spread from animal carcasses

This is like another epidemic! No known symptoms, no antidote. A new variant of the deadly Ebola virus is able to adapt itself to all immune systems in a very short time. Which has made people's lives in the People's Republic of Congo (DR Congo) and recently Uganda terrible in a few days. So far the death toll has exceeded 2100. Statistics show that one person is killed every half hour. Recently, the famous international magazine 'Nature Medicine' gave a more dire indication about the Ebola situation. According to his report, not only human-to-human infection, this time Ebola is also spreading from animal bodies. There is no way to prevent that.

A new strain of Ebola has been spreading in the Congo since February. The threat is called the 'Bundibuzzio strain'. It was thought to be the most recent variant of Ebola. There is no cure yet. Previous vaccines against other strains of the Ebola virus are no longer effective. According to the World Health Organization, this is the deadliest virus of Ebola. Which is not only being transmitted by human contact, but also spreading from animal bodies. And that is the most worrying now.

Kritika Kuppalli, a long-time researcher on infectious diseases, says, “Ebola has spread from Congo to Uganda. And this infection is completely through animals, which is completely new. Earlier it was only transmitted from person to person. But remember, this is not a new strain. According to the results of genetic research, the virus is living almost freely in any animal or human body. No previous vaccine is working for it.”

Recently, research papers of scientists from Congo, Uganda, Belgium and several countries have been published in the journal 'Nature Medicine'. It is known that the strain of Ebola that spread in 2007 and 2012 is quite different from the current 'Bundibuzzio strain'. It is undergoing frequent genetic changes. That's why the current medical science is not under control.

United Nations Secretary General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that the Ebola situation in Congo, Uganda is reminiscent of 2014 and 2016. When Ebola swept across West Africa, killing more than 11,000 people. That's when his antidote was created. But the 2026 outbreak is the worst ever. Medical science has not yet succeeded in making a vaccine.
