A major accident took place in Latehar, Jharkhand on Saturday. Here a container hit an auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle. 7 people including a child have lost their lives in the accident. According to the police, the accident took place in Dedh Tangwa valley of Chandwa police station area between 5 and 6 pm on Saturday evening. After taking possession of all the bodies, the police have sent them to Sadar Hospital, where post-mortem will be done.
According to initial information, there was a head-on collision between an auto rickshaw and a container. The auto rickshaw was coming from Chandwa side. After the horrific collision, three passengers sitting on the auto rickshaw and the driver died on the spot. As soon as information about the accident was received, a large number of villagers reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. On receiving the information, police and administrative staff also reached the spot.

The three deceased have not been identified yet. The police have sent all the dead bodies to Sadar Hospital by ambulance. In the viral video on social media, a large crowd of people is seen outside the district hospital. On receiving information about the horrific accident, leaders and social workers of Latehar district also started reaching the hospital and the homes of the victims.
First the bike collided, then the auto rickshaw collided
According to media reports, the container first hit a bike. A total of four people were riding the bike. As soon as the collision occurred, a woman jumped a long distance and fell, due to which her life was saved. The remaining three people died after falling under the container. After this the container collided with an auto rickshaw. Four passengers including the driver lost their lives.
Three deceased were from the same village
According to the report of Dainik Jagran, all the people riding the bike were residents of Sasang village of Latehar and belonged to the same family. Were going to Lohardaga for some work. Three members of the family, including Asjad Ansari, died after being hit by the container, while his mother Afsara Devi narrowly escaped.

Auto rickshaw blown up
Auto driver Rakib Khan's name is also among those who lost their lives. Three passengers have not been identified yet. The accident was so severe that the auto rickshaw was blown to pieces. The auto rickshaw buried under the container was pulled out with great effort and with the help of a crane. When the villagers took out the dead bodies, everyone was shocked to see their condition.
