Announcing the successful completion of the first edition of his initiative 'Vande Bharatam', Gautam Adani said that the program has shown him the true potential of India. He said that on the occasion of Independence Day, there can be no better example than that thousands of youth from every corner of the country have come forward with their ideas and innovations.
The 'Vande Bharatam' initiative launched by Adani received more than 26,000 applications from across the country. The event saw representation from every state of India, including young startup founders, women entrepreneurs, rural innovators and talented people from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities who distinguished themselves with their innovations and problem-solving abilities.

He said what was most impressive about this initiative was the depth and diversity of talent available across the country. According to him, talent in India is not limited only to big metros, but small towns and rural areas also have a large number of people who have the potential to bring about change through innovation and entrepreneurship.
Many participants of the program also appreciated the platform. He said that this initiative gave him the opportunity to connect directly with investors and mentors, which would help him take his ideas and businesses forward.
In his message on the occasion of Independence Day, Gautam Adani also stressed on the importance of development, faith and values of the country. He said that it is most important to remain true to one's beliefs, values and principles in the decisive moments of life.
“There are times when the most important thing is to stay true to the values and beliefs you hold,” he said.
Gautam Adani said that for him Independence Day is not only a day of celebration but also an opportunity to express gratitude. He said that history is witness that no major change is possible without sacrifice and patience.
He said, “August 15 is not only a day of celebration for me, but also a day of gratitude. It teaches us that no big change is possible without sacrifice and patience.”
Adani indicated that both India's journey to independence and the country's development are the result of sustained effort, patience and collective determination. He expressed confidence that the youth, entrepreneurs and innovators of the country will take India to new heights in the coming years.
