In a grand ceremony organized in front of Vidhan Bhavan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hoisted the national flag and wished the people of the state on Independence Day. The entire campus appeared immersed in the colors of patriotism with the Tricolor. The flower shower and tricolor balloons released in the sky during the ceremony made the atmosphere more special.
The program started at around 9:15 am with the presentation of 'Vande Mataram' by the students of Bharatkhande Music University. After this, PAC and Military Band enhanced the dignity of the function by giving disciplined presentations.

In this year's Independence Day celebrations 'One India Excellent India' The spirit of was kept especially at the center. Artists from various regions of Uttar Pradesh along with Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Bihar presented their folk culture and traditions on the stage.
From folk songs of 'Ganpati Bappa Morya' and 'Chhathi Maiya' to folk dances from different states, the presentations presented a beautiful picture of India's unity in diversity.
Ram-Sita's tableau won the hearts of the audience
A major attraction of the function was the tableau of Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Lakshman. About 16 artists of Gauri Kala Mandapam Group prepared this presentation. Varanasi's Kumkum Rastogi played the role of Mother Sita, Ritwik Singh played the role of Lord Ram and Ayush Sahu played the role of Laxman.
According to the artists, it was a proud moment for them to perform on such a big stage on Independence Day in front of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. For this, the artists practiced continuously for several days.
From Kathak to 'Rela Pata' of Bastar
The team of Bharatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya presented Kathak and folk dance. 20 artists presented Kathak and six artists presented folk dance. The presentation of Tarana in Kathak greatly impressed the audience. The artist who came from Mathura-Vrindavan added spiritual color to the ceremony by blowing conch.
A group of 19 artists from Chhattisgarh Bastar's famous folk art 'Rela Pata' Added new color to the cultural program by presenting it. The presentation prepared jointly with artists from different states gave recognition to the tribal culture of Bastar on the stage of Lucknow.
It was a memorable opportunity for the artists too
Artists from Arunachal Pradesh and Maharashtra also gave their performances. The 22-member team from Maharashtra had prepared for the program for about a week. The artists said that performing on the same stage with teams from different states was a very special experience for them.
During the ceremony, when flowers rained from the sky and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released tricolor balloons in the air, there was a lot of enthusiasm among the children and spectators present there. The happiness on the faces of the children holding the tricolor in their hands made the entire event emotional.
