New Delhi. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rains and storms in all the states of the country till August 21. According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area has formed in and around south-eastern Jharkhand. Due to which it is raining in the eastern areas of India. Due to this low pressure area, heavy rains and strong winds are expected at many places. The Meteorological Department has advised fishermen not to go into the sea. If there is heavy rain in the next few days, the problem of water for the crops of the farmers will also reduce.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of UP also. At the same time, there are chances of very heavy rains at some places in West Bengal, Jharkhand and northern parts of Odisha. During this period, there is also a possibility of lightning along with thunder. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be clouds in Delhi and NCR from Sunday to Tuesday. There may be intermittent rain in Delhi and NCR for three days.
The Meteorological Department had earlier predicted that this year there will be below average monsoon rainfall due to El Nino. In June, the south-west monsoon reached Kerala four days late. Then there was a lot of rain in the southern states including Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, but the monsoon got stuck for several days after that. After which, when the conditions became favourable, monsoon covered the entire country and it rained heavily. However, this time after a few days of rain, many days of sunshine and humidity are being seen. Recently, when it rained for several days in many states including Delhi, the rainfall was only 12 percent less than the average. Now, if the monsoon continues to have a strong impact for several days in most parts of the country, then people may get relief from this.
