29 brave men of Jharkhand Police will be honored on Independence Day, CM Soren will give President, Gallantry and Meritorious Service Medal.

Jharkhand: The main function of Independence Day will be organized on August 15 at Morhabadi Maidan in Ranchi. On this occasion, 29 police officers and employees of Jharkhand will be honored. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will honor all these policemen by giving them medals. These medals have already been announced by the Central Government. So let us know which policemen will be honoured.

Honor will be given in three different categories

This time an officer of Jharkhand Police will be given the President's Medal for distinguished service. At the same time, five policemen will be honored with Police Gallantry Medal and 23 police officers and employees will be honored with Meritorious Service Medal.

President's Medal to Kailash Prasad Shrestha

Inspector Kailash Prasad Shrestha will receive the President's Medal for distinguished service. He is posted in ZAP-1, Ranchi. He is being given this honor for serving better and responsibly for a long time.

Gallantry medals given to five policemen

Those who received Police Gallantry Medal include Latehar Inspector Vinay Kumar, IRB-4 Latehar Inspector Pramod Kumar Rai, Latehar constables Ved Prakash Mahato and Ramchandra Kumar Mahato and Jamtara constable Krishna Murmu.

Meritorious Service Medal to 23 Policemen

Among those who received the Meritorious Service Medal are IG Dr. Michaelraj S, A. Vijayalakshmi, DIG Anuranjan Kispotta, DSP of Special Branch Neeraj Kumar and Inspector of Communication and Technical Services Arun Kumar. Apart from this, STF ASI Arvind Kumar Palit, Vashisht Kunwar, Sanjeev Kumar Jha and Vijay Kumar, driver Havildar Mohd. Iqbal, Vindrai Mundri, Jap-10 female constables Manati Khalkho and Prabha Devi will also be honoured.

Manoj Kumar Rai of ATS, Inspector Asit Kumar Modi of ITS, ASI Deepak Punj of Ranchi district, ASI Mahendra Mahato of CID and Havildar Vijay Thapa of STF are also included in this list. This year, Jap-10's lady constable Ranjita Kujur, Garhwa's constable Vishesh Manjhi, Chatra's constable Ajay Kumar Dubey, Jap-10's lady constable Pushpa Odeya and Gumla's constable Deepak Kumar Singh will also be given the Meritorious Service Medal.
