New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his 13th Independence Day address from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Saturday, engaged the countrymen with different addresses. During this period, his most used address was 'My dear countrymen'. The Prime Minister used this word about 40 times in his speech. Apart from this, he addressed people as 'comrades' 10 times.
Said to the youth- My dear youth
Prime Minister Modi once addressed the youth by calling them 'My dear youth' while calling for the participation of youth in the campaign to free them from drugs and other addictions. During the speech he also used the words 'national servant' and 'brothers and sisters' once each.
'Countrymen' remained PM's favorite address
'Countrymen' has been Prime Minister Modi's favorite word to address the people in his speeches on the occasion of Independence Day. He used it about 50 times in his Independence Day address last year i.e. 2025. At the same time, in 2024, the Prime Minister had said 'countrymen' about 30 times. In 2023 this number was around 15, whereas in 2022 he used this address more than 40 times.
Had a relationship with 'Parivarjan' in 2023
In his Independence Day address of 2023, Prime Minister Modi had addressed the countrymen as 'Parivarjan'. In that speech he used this word about 50 times. The use of the word 'Friends' has also been a regular part of the Prime Minister's address in his Independence Day speeches in the last few years. This time also he attracted the attention of the countrymen on many important issues by calling them 'Friends'.
