JNU Ruckus On Independence Day: There was a huge uproar in Jawaharlal Nehru University i.e. JNU on the 80th Independence Day. Left wing students raised objectionable slogans in protest against ABVP's Tiranga Bike Rally on Independence Day. Not only this, other students were also stopped from raising slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai. The incident has once again raised questions regarding security arrangements and political activities in the JNU campus.

Actually, according to ABVP students of JNU, the rally was organized with the aim of giving the message of patriotism through Tiranga Yatra on the occasion of 80th Independence Day. The students participating in the rally were moving forward in the campus carrying the tricolor in their hands and raising slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram.

According to ABVP, a large number of students had participated in the Tiranga bike rally.
