Now in the first test match being played at Galle International Stadium, when Siraj came to bat, he hit six sixes, which everyone was surprised to see. Siraj played a strong slog-sweep on the ball of Sri Lankan spinner Keshara Nuwantha and hit the ball for a six over deep midwicket, the video of which is going viral on social media.

On the second day of the Galle Test, Mohammad Siraj came to bat at number 9. Team India had lost 7 wickets on the score of 432 runs. In such a situation, Siraj was sent to score fast runs. As soon as he came to the crease, he made his intention clear as to what style he was going to bat. He hit a skyscraper six on the fourth ball of his innings. However, after this he was not able to hit any big shot. Sri Lankan bowler Asitha Fernando gave a sigh of relief to her team by sending Siraj to the pavilion. Siraj scored 11 runs on 15 balls.

Siraj rained sixes in the warm-up match

Before the start of the Test series, Team India played a 3-day warm-up match against Sri Lanka XI. In this match, when Team India was looking in trouble, Siraj led the team to victory by hitting 3 consecutive sixes. He surprised everyone with his innings. In that warm-up match, Siraj played a stormy inning of 32 unbeaten runs in 15 balls, which included 4 sixes and 1 four. However, Siraj was not successful in playing a good innings in the first innings of the Galle Test.

India in strong position on the strength of Devdutt Padikkal's innings

Rain disrupted the first and second days of the Galle Test. Although it rained only for about 1 hour on the first day, the first and second sessions of the second day's play were washed out due to rain. However, Team India seems to be in a strong position. By the end of the second day's play, the Indian team had scored 460 runs for 9 wickets. Batting at number-3, Devdutt Padikkal played a big inning of 167 runs, on the basis of which Team India looks strong. KL Rahul scored 82 runs. While wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant scored 39 runs. Whereas Dhruv Jurel played a good inning of 51 runs. Jaiswal scored 32 runs. Manav Suthar scored 24 runs. Captain Shubman Gill scored 16 runs. Ravindra Jadeja contributed 13 runs and Mohammad Siraj contributed 11 runs. Whereas Kuldeep Yadav is unbeaten on 13 runs and Prasidh Krishna is unbeaten on 1 run.
