Today is the last day to submit SIR enumeration forms, more than 33% forms still out of digital records

Today is the last day to submit counting forms under SIR. A large number of voters are facing the challenge of submitting their forms on the last day of the deadline.
SIR census forms are being delivered door to door and their digital records are being created. So far, only 66.99 percent of the forms have been digitized, while the process of uploading the remaining forms is in progress within the deadline. The challenge before the officials is to register the remaining forms on the last day and not allow the registration process of any eligible voter to be affected.

Many questions have arisen among voters regarding filling and submission of forms. Some voters were seen collecting information related to documents and details. Due to this, there was extra pressure on the support centers and related staff on the last day. Meanwhile, the BLO says that the voters were supposed to submit the forms as per the prescribed procedure, but so far most of the voters have not come to submit the forms and those who are coming have filled the forms incorrectly. At the same time, in case of any technical or other problem on the last day, it is advised to contact the Election Officer concerned.

District wise, 66.99 per cent forms were digitized.
