Lakshmi Mittal's steel plant in Ukraine : Two people were killed, while 14 employees were injured in a missile attack by Russia on Indian industrialist Lakshmi Mittal's company ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih. Many important production units of the plant have been damaged in the attack, due to which production activities at the plant had to be partially stopped.

This plant of ArcelorMittal is in Kryvyi Rih city of Ukraine, which is the home town of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The plant is also Ukraine's largest integrated steel unit.
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih said in a statement that key facilities related to power generation and blast furnace operations were damaged by the missile attack. According to the company, the damage caused to these critical units has disrupted production processes and led to partial halt of plant operations.
