Jagdishpur (Bhagalpur) – Under the Basera-2 campaign run by the Revenue and Land Reforms Department of the Government of Bihar, land rights forms were distributed among landless families in Jagdishpur zonal complex on Monday. During the programme, land rights forms were provided to a total of 104 landless families.
According to the zonal administration, as per the government land available in the respective revenue mouza, the beneficiaries were given land slips of one to two decimals. After receiving the forms, an atmosphere of happiness was seen among the beneficiaries.
Jagdishpur Circle Officer Satish Kumar said that many landless families were demanding land rights certificates for a long time. Under the instructions of the government, eligible landless families have been provided land rights forms on the basis of available land.
The beneficiary women who received the form told that they were landless for a long time. Getting land rights has given them hope of permanent shelter for their families. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude towards the government and the zonal administration.
