New Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party has made a major reshuffle in its national team. Many faces have been given responsibilities in the new team formed after Nitin Naveen became the party president. Under this change, the command of BJP's IT cell has also changed. In place of Amit Malviya, Deepak Mahaske has been given the responsibility of IT and social media team. Deepak Mahaske was till now working for the BJP organization in Chhattisgarh. This is being considered his big responsibility at the national level. Preeti Gandhi, Shivanand Dwivedi, Alok Bhatt and Arun Yadav will work with him as associates.

Journey from chemistry professor to politics
Deepak Mahaske's professional background is quite different from politics. Born in 1968, Mahaske has done MSc in Chemistry. Apart from this, he has also done Diploma in Cement Technology and Computer Programming course.
He started his career as a chemistry professor. Later he turned towards agriculture and horticulture. He is said to have nearly three decades of experience in the field of organic farming and horticulture.
Election data also remained under control

With time, Mahaske also made its place in work related to political and election data. According to his professional profile, he has special interest in analyzing election data and data related to beneficiaries of government schemes.
He has also served as a board director of a public sector company. Apart from this, he has also held senior position in Chhattisgarh government. He has been associated with the BJP organization for a long time and has worked with the organization and the government at the state level.
Data experience will be useful in new responsibility
After taking charge of BJP's IT and social media department, Mahaske's experience of data and election analysis can prove to be very useful for him. His understanding of working with election data is expected to be used in the party's digital strategy.
Apart from the experience of working with the organization in Chhattisgarh, his experience of coordination in government and at various levels can also be useful in national responsibility. Now it remains to be seen what kind of role Mahaske plays in the social media and digital strategy of BJP at the national level.
