Iran US war: Amidst the tension between America and Iran, Tehran has made a big announcement regarding American troops. Iran said on Sunday, August 16 that a reward of 30 thousand dollars, i.e. about Rs 28 lakh, will be given to anyone who kills or captures an American soldier and hands him over to the army. The special thing is that if a woman does this work, then the amount she gets will double to 60 thousand dollars.

According to Iran’s government news agency IRNA, Army Chief Amir Hatami has announced this plan. He said that a large number of people had expressed their desire to provide financial help and contribute to the war. Following these requests, this reward scheme for American soldiers was prepared.
Hatami said that anyone who kills or captures an attacking American military personnel and hands him over to the Iranian army, will be given an amount equivalent to 30 thousand dollars or 5 billion tomans. The toman is an unofficial currency unit in Iran, commonly used along with the rial. He also said that if any Iranian woman takes such action, she will get double the reward.
Special announcement for the weapons used
Along with the reward, the Iranian Army Chief also made a separate announcement regarding the weapon. According to him, the weapon used against the American soldier will be purchased by paying double its value and the person concerned will be given a new weapon. It has also been said that the used weapon will be kept in a special museum.
Hatami also warned in his statement that if any American soldier steps on Iranian soil, the consequences will be serious. He also targeted America for the claims made about its military strength in West Asia and said that during this war many things have come to light regarding its military capability.
Demand for America to withdraw from West Asia
Iranian Army Chief once again reiterated the demand for America to withdraw from West Asia. He said that American troops should not be allowed to enter the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman or the Strait of Hormuz. However, there has been no information about any permanent deployment of US troops in Iran during the current war. In such a situation, this reward announced for American soldiers also gives rise to the question whether Iran is giving this message to its people keeping in mind any possible ground action.
America-Iran tension continues since February 28
The current tension between the US and Iran began on February 28. According to the information, America along with Israel had targeted Iran. Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in this attack. After this the military tension between the two countries increased further. Iran has also effectively banned the movement of commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. There is constant tension between the two countries regarding this sea route.
Despite the agreement, tension did not subside
On June 17, a memorandum of understanding was signed between America and Iran. Under this, after the fighting that lasted for about 40 days from February 28, it was agreed to continue talks for a temporary ceasefire and a permanent solution. Under the agreement, a deadline of 60 days was fixed.
But despite this the tension between the two countries did not end completely. There was no significant progress in the talks and on several occasions there were reports of firing between the two sides. The US attacks focused on southern Iran and around the Strait of Hormuz, while Iran targeted US bases in the Gulf countries.
