Mumbai, 18 August. There has been a major change in the direction of centralization of administrative powers in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra government has notified 'Maharashtra Government Rules of Business, 2026', under which Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been empowered to change, amend or cancel the decision of any cabinet minister in the larger public interest.
