Gurugram. A very poignant case has come to light from Sector 53, a posh area of Cyber City Gurugram. A 21-year-old domestic help living in an apartment here has died under suspicious circumstances. As soon as information about the incident was received, a team of local police station and forensic experts reached the spot. The police is investigating the case thoroughly so that the exact cause of death can be found out.

Maid found dead in room
According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as Sushma Devi, who was originally a resident of Simdega district of Jharkhand. She worked as a domestic help in a house located in Sector 53. On the day of the incident, when no movement was heard in Sushma's room for a long time, neighbors and family members went and checked. Sushma's body was found in a suspicious condition inside the room, after which the police was immediately informed.
Forensic team engaged in investigation
The police station said that immediately after receiving the information, the police team reached the spot. The police closely inspected and investigated the incident site, but no suicide note or message was recovered from the room. The police have taken the body into custody and kept it in the mortuary of the civil hospital for post-mortem.

Police is investigating from every angle
According to the police, the family members of the deceased have been informed about the incident and are waiting for their arrival in Gurugram. Police are working on many aspects in this case. Police are interrogating the owners of the deceased whether she was under any mental stress for the last few days or had any other problem. Also, the police has taken the mobile phone of the deceased into their custody. His call details are being scrutinized to find out who he had talked to before the incident. Police officials say that the exact cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes. At present, primarily the police have started action under relevant sections.
