American actress Kathryn Hahn has expressed her gratitude to fans who pushed for her to be cast as Mother Gothel in Tangled.
The actress was backed by many fans online when it was announced that a live action of the hit 2010 Disney movie is in the works and casting is still going on.
The 53-year-old said it was “flattering” knowing the masses were backing her casting in the role.
Speaking to Peopleshe said “I have knowledge of that! That people have wanted it. So it’s very humbling and flattering, also really trippy that it actually happens.”
Kathryn attend the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026 on August 16.
Fans were given the opportunity to witness the first look at the live action in the making at the event.
The movie stars Milo Manheim and Teagan Croft in the lead roles of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.
After long delays, the movie is finally going smoothly through its production phase and is expected to release in theaters on March 31, 2028.
