New Delhi. There are signs of weakness from the global market today. US markets closed with losses during the last session. Dow Johns Futures also seems to be trading with weakness today.
European markets closed with mixed results during the last session. There is generally selling pressure in the Asian market today.
Due to global bond selling and rising crude oil prices, the US market remained in a weak sentiment during the last session. Due to this, the Dow Johns Industrial Average fell by 116 points or 0.20 percent.
Similarly, the S&P 500 index fell 0.69 percent and ended the last session’s trading at the level of 7,691.76 points. Apart from this, Nasdaq closed at the level of 26,289.71 points with a weakness of 355.20 points or 1.33 percent.
At the same time, Dow Johns Futures is currently seen falling 0.10 percent and trading at the level of 53,292.38 points.
European markets closed with mixed results after trading under pressure during the previous session. The FTSE index closed at 10,728.04 points with a gain of 0.07 percent.
In contrast, the CAC index ended the previous session’s trading at 8,509.36 points with a decline of 0.83 percent. Apart from this, DAX index slipped by 210.25 points or 0.80 percent and closed at the level of 26,128.36 points.
There seems to be pressure in the Asian market today. The indices of eight out of nine markets in Asia are trading in the red with a decline, while one index remains in the green with a rise.
The only Hang Seng index in the Asian market is trading at the level of 25,531 points with a gain of 59.85 points or 0.23 percent.
On the other hand, Gift Nifty is trading at the level of 24,107 points with a weakness of 72 points or 0.30 percent. Similarly, the Straits Times Index has fallen by 0.27 percent to the level of 5,686.17 points.
Kospi index has fallen victim to a big fall today. At present this index has fallen by 398.53 points or 5.80 percent and has reached the level of 6,471.30 points.
Nikkei index is also showing tremendous weakness today. At present this index has fallen by 1,871.73 points or 2.77 percent to the level of 65,589 points.
Similarly, there is considerable weakness in the Shanghai Composite Index today. At present this index has fallen by 78.13 points or 1.96 percent to the level of 3,912.17 points.
Similarly, Taiwan Weighted Index declined by 526.28 points or 1.16 percent and reached the level of 44,782.40 points.
Apart from this, Set Composite Index slipped 0.51 percent and was trading at the level of 1,613.27 points and Jakarta Composite Index slipped 0.38 percent and was trading at the level of 6,425.48 points.
