Is ‘2 Broke Girls’ returning? Truth Revealed

Fans of 2 Broke Girls have a reason to be excited about as its stars are reuniting once again.

But does this mean the iconic 2011 sitcom is making its return?

Kat Dennings, who starred as Max Black, and Beth Behrs, who took on the role of Caroline Channing, have sparked nostalgia among fans as they teased their reunion.

However, to clarify they will be reuniting but no as their former roles.

A video sparked widespread reaction, that saw Kat, 40, giving a $7 drink to Beth, also 40, but the latter claimed she’s unable to pay for it because she doesn’t have enough money.

“Sorry, I’m broke,” the The Neighborhood actress expressed, referring to the fan favourite sitcom 2 Broke Girls where they both played the leads.

Despite the reference, they will not be reviving their characters for the show that ended back in 2017 as the video was shared by the social media account of the sitcom Shifting Gears which stars Kat alongside Tim Allen.

The sitcom which began airing in 2025, confirmed they will be bringing on Beth as a guest star in its third season.

“TV REUNION WE ALL NEEDED!!!” one fan wrote in the comments.

In the upcoming season Beth is expected to play Dr. Johnson, a beautiful emergency room physician who comes to Riley’s (Kat) aid following a back injury.

However, the 2 Broke Girls connection runs deeper, as Beth is also reuniting with Shifting Gears’ Michelle Nader, who also served as a co-showrunner and executive producer on the sitcom.
