Why Tottenham Want Omar Marmoush?
Tottenham’s interest in Omar Marmoush means they want to add more attacking quality to their frontline. The 27-year-old arrived at Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 for a reported £59 million and has since proven his goalscoring ability on many occasions.
Marmoush has registered 16 goals in 16 appearances since joining Man City. However, his path to consistent Premier League starts has been complicated by the presence of Erling Haaland.
The Egyptian made only eight Premier League starts last season, often operating as an alternative to the Norwegian rather than an automatic starter. That limited role could make a move appealing if Tottenham Hotspur FC can convince him that regular football awaits in north London.

Reports suggest City would demand a substantial fee before considering an exit. Marmoush’s contract situation and high salary would also make negotiations complicated for Tottenham Hotspur.
