Patna: On Wednesday, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) took out a Lok Bhavan march under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Let us tell you, this demonstration was done regarding the police firing and other issues during the student movement in Siwan. During the march, many RJD workers arrived with the tricolor in their hands, while some protesters also carried dummy AK-47 to register their protest.
According to the information, the march started from JP Golambar of Patna. A large number of RJD workers came forward along with Tejashwi Yadav and raised slogans against the government. At the same time, the party cornered the government over alleged police firing on unarmed protesters, paper leak and other issues related to youth.
Barricading broken at Dakbungalow intersection
Moving ahead from JP Golambar, the protesters reached Dakbungla intersection, where the police had barricaded for security. However, the protesters tried to move forward by crossing the barricade. After this the police stopped him near Income Tax Golambar. A large number of police and administrative officers were deployed in the area.

The protesters tried to move forward here too, after which the police used water cannon. But despite the heavy showers of water, many workers remained standing on the spot and some protesters were also seen dancing in the water.
Workers arrived with dummy AK-47
Not only this, during the protest, some RJD workers came wearing T-shirts with police written on them and carrying dummy AK-47. Along with him, some other protesters were wearing student clothes. Through these symbolic weapons, the party workers registered their protest against the police firing incident that took place in Siwan on July 25.

During the march, the police detained many RJD workers including Tejashwi Yadav. He was taken into custody near the Income Tax office and taken to the Secretariat police station. It was told that he could be released later. Meanwhile, a delegation of RJD may meet Governor Syed Ata Hasnain and submit a memorandum related to the party's demands. The police-administration did not allow the protesters to reach Lok Bhavan.
