Tamil Nadu CM's big announcement: Health insurance cover ₹25 lakh, milk prices increased; MLAs will get this facility

Chennai. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Wednesday announced several major decisions for the people, milk producers and MLAs of the state. The Chief Minister announced to increase the annual health insurance cover from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh under the Chief Minister Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme. Apart from this, the milk purchase price for government dairy company Aavin was also increased from Rs 38 to Rs 41 per liter.

Health insurance cover increased five times-
The Chief Minister announced to increase the annual insurance amount under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. He said that health services are not just a convenience for a person, but his basic right.

According to the Chief Minister, the government aims to provide better health facilities to all the people of the state regardless of income and region. He said that the government is also starting many new initiatives to improve the health system.

Milk producers will now get Rs 41 per litre.
The milk purchase price for government dairy company Aavin has also been increased. Now milk producers will get Rs 41 per liter instead of Rs 38. This will also include an incentive amount of Rs 3 per liter from the government.

The Chief Minister made this announcement under Rule 110 in the Assembly. He said that despite the challenging economic situation of the state, this decision has been taken keeping in mind the income and interests of milk producers.

This decision is expected to benefit more than 3.16 lakh milk producers of the state. According to the Chief Minister, increasing the milk purchase price will cost the state government an additional amount of about Rs 30 crore every month.

During this, the Chief Minister also targeted the previous DMK government and alleged that it did not make any concrete efforts to increase the purchase price of milk producers.

Government vehicle and monthly allowance to MLAs-
Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay also announced new facilities for MLAs. He said that government vehicles and monthly allowance will be provided to the MLAs, so that they can better listen to the problems of the people in their constituencies and solve them.

Making the announcement under Rule 110 in the Assembly, the Chief Minister said that with these facilities, MLAs will be able to easily visit their constituencies, listen to public complaints and monitor government projects.

The government says that with the new system, MLAs will not have to depend on others to work in their constituencies.
