Delhi Kalyan Puri Murder: A sensational murder incident has taken place in the country's national capital Delhi. The father was stabbed to death on his child's sixth birthday in Kalyanpuri, East Delhi. While intervening in a dispute late on Wednesday night, youth Jai Singh alias Ganju was brutally murdered by being stabbed with a knife. The father-in-law and uncle-father-in-law of the deceased were also attacked by the accused. The police took prompt action in the case and arrested two accused. The knife used in the crime has also been recovered. Four people including two eunuchs have been accused in the case.
Police said that Jai Singh lived with his family in Kalyanpuri 7 block. The family consists of father, mother and a seven-day-old child. Jai Singh used to work as a mason. On Wednesday, there was a Chhathi program of Jai Singh's child. Guests had come to the house. Late at night Jai Singh was standing outside the house.
At around 12:45 in the night, hearing the noise outside the in-laws' house on the road between 11 and 15 blocks, Jai Singh came out of the house with his father-in-law Bittu and uncle-in-law. Some people on the road were asking a young man named Sonu for information about the whereabouts of illegal liquor. They were beating Sonu badly for not giving information.
When Jai Singh came to intervene, the angry accused attacked Jai Singh with knives. While trying to save him, his father-in-law and uncle were also attacked. The injured were immediately taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where doctors declared Jai Singh brought dead. According to the police, the family has alleged in a written complaint that the two eunuchs came with their two other companions. A case of murder has been registered in Kalyanpuri police station and two accused have been taken into custody.
